DBDP-Autonomic: Integrating multimodal data into Autonomic Nervous System Signal Analysis (IEEE-EMBS BHI 2025)

We explored how to advance reproducible research on autonomic nervous system (ANS) signals from mobile and wearable technologies. We heard from Douglas Bremner (Emory), Varun Mishra (Northeastern), Nil Gurel (Meta), and Jessilyn Dunn (Duke) about opportunities and challenges in interpreting ANS data, integrating multimodal context, and distinguishing signals related to stress, activity, and chronic conditions.
